TPS: What does the name of the series mean?
The style I want to give to my artworks is defined by my shapes.
I want to portray the moment in which my models are fighting to overcome fears.
They are wrapped in these feelings, and my shapes are their key to freedom or the very same obstacles tying them down.
TPS: What inspired the series?
I wanted to give a stronger effect to my digital paintings, so I had to take a deeper look at the personality of my models.
In these series I selected Helena (left and center) and Anne (right).
They are very natural in what I needed to portray, in this case, self-assured women.
TPS: What are you currently doing in terms of client work?
I have been commissioned to do several artworks and continuing to work on the development of my style for the use in various mediums – e.g. portraits, album covers, comics.
TPS: What do you want to do in the design industry?
London is the heart of Europe and I want to experience all the different fields to have a full understanding of the design industry.
I’m always looking for new challenges and inspiring jobs.
TPS: What other personal project have you got going on?
I have a new series in mind in which my models are completely designed with my shapes to capture the contrast between good and evil.
TPS: Who are your influences?
It’s hard to say, I don’t have one specific influence. Thanks to my mother I learned about art, so most of my passion for design comes from her.
I can tell you who I admire: Alberto Seveso (for his beautiful portraits) and Scott Hansen(for those incredible modern old style designs).
TPS: What programs did you use to make these?
Photoshop and illustrators are my favourite tools!
TPS: Are you available for Freelance inquires?
Yes, in this particular moment I’m available, especially if I find the project challenging!
