TPS: What does the name of the series mean?
Arcadia and Splendoria are metaphoric descriptions of those wonderful beings called women
and all the visual joy they bring.
“Entity” is the title for the set of mythological and religious gods. Odin represents the old
tales from the Norse Edda. Shiva is part of the Hinduism and Ceremonious stands for the ancient
faith of the Celts.
TPS: What inspired the series?
Arcadia and Splendoria are inspired by modern and contemporary fashion illustrations, while
“Entity” is the attempt to create a new way of showing mythological or religious deities with
no cultural connections and backgrounds.
TPS: What are you currently doing in terms of client work?
At the moment I mostly work with bands from Germany and the States. I create conceptional
artworks for their album releases and help them establish an unique and recognisalbe appreance.
TPS: What do you want to do in the design industry?
I’m quite happy to be able to work with more and more bands and I definitely would like to
pursue this even more in the future.
TPS: What other personal project have you got going on?
Right now I’m happy that there is enough to do working on official projects for bands. The “Entity”
series was the last personal project I did – it was originally for the Illustrative award called “Young
Illustrators Award” – but sadly it didn’t make it. But I’m still totally proud of how it turned out.
TPS: Who are your influences?
There are different styles I really like. On one hand I’m a total addict to typography and love to
do hand lettering. Here once again I would like to mention Hydro74, Maxx242 for example.
Tattoo artworks are definitely a big influence too. On the other hand I really like the
work of small creative design studios like Invisible Creature or Studio K. But in the end every
movie or book can be a great influence…
TPS: What programs did you use to make these?
I mostly use Photoshop and Illustrator to create my artworks.
TPS: Are you available for Freelance inquires?
Sure! I’m always available by mail and would be glad to help on any ambitious design/illustration project.
