TPS: What does the name of the series mean?
Actually I haven´t come with a name. I think it would be something like “Agony”. It refers to waiting times, hoping to end but not at all.
TPS: What inspired the series?
Dead times than can be found in many forms, such as file cabinets or slide photographs. Times that are sealed in a moment and you can´t get out of.
TPS: What are you currently doing in terms of client work?
At the moment I am doing specially print work, suck I brochures, blisters and packaging for two direct clients.
TPS: What do you want to do in the design industry?
I started developing websites, but now I´m working with print projects most of all.
Anyways, I always try new formats, specially to find what best fits me as a designer.
TPS: What other personal project have you got going on?
I am still a college student, so I split my time between class and work. I try to find time to illustrate now and then too, but nothing particular.
TPS: Who are your influences?
I really like digging in the web, searching for new styles. I think diversity in a designer is really important, that´s why I always look for different influences.
Scott Hansen was one of the first designers that influenced me.
Alberto Cerriteño was another. I have always felt very identified with his work.
I have always admired Si Scott work. The work of “You are beautiful” studio is very interesting too. I love how Stefan Sagmeister is always breaking the boundaries of design.
There are many design groups here in Argentina which were direct referents in my first designs as well, such as FASE or DOMA.
TPS: What programs did you use to make these?
Most of it was done in Photoshop, with some elements done in Illustrator.
TPS: Are you available for Freelance inquires?
I divide my time between college and work, and try to do personal things in my spare time. But I am always open to hear new project proposals.
